If you’ve sent a bank transfer but it hasn’t shown up on your Paybis order yet, don’t worry, this is often just a temporary delay.
Below, we’ll explain why this can happen, what you should check first, and when to contact support.
How long bank transfers usually take
Bank transfers are not instant. The time it takes for your funds to reach us depends on your bank and the country of origin.
SEPA (European) transfers will usually take 1-3 business days to arrive to us.
SWIFT (international) transfers typically can take between 5-9 business days to arrive.
Transfers made on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.
Check your payment confirmation
Make sure your bank transfer has actually been sent successfully:
Check your bank statement or transaction history for a completed or “sent” status.
Confirm the amount and currency match your Paybis order.
Ensure you include the correct reference number (invoice ID) in the transfer details.
Check the account details you used
Double-check that you sent the funds to the exact bank details shown on your Paybis order page or email.
Please note:
The account details may differ by currency or region.
Using old or incorrect account details can delay or reject your payment.
If you sent funds to the wrong account, please contact your bank immediately to request a recall.
Wait for your bank and intermediary banks to process the transfer
Depending on your country and currency, your payment may pass through one or more intermediary banks.
This can add 1–3 business days to the processing time, especially for international SWIFT transfers.
Tip: Always use your own personal bank account. Transfers from third-party accounts (friends, relatives, companies) are not accepted and will be refunded.
Check for possible delays
Here are a few common reasons your bank transfer might take longer than usual:
You sent the transfer after business hours or on a weekend/holiday.
Your bank flagged the payment for manual review (especially if it’s your first crypto transaction).
You used an intermediary or fintech bank (some take longer to release funds).
The currency conversion is still being processed by your bank.
Most of these situations resolve automatically once your bank releases the funds.
What happens next
If we receive your transfer, it will be matched to your order automatically, and you’ll get a confirmation email once your crypto is sent.
If we can’t locate your transfer, perhaps we just need to allow more time for the transfer to settle between banks
If your bank confirms the payment was rejected or sent to the wrong account, you’ll need to request a refund or recall directly from your bank or may return automatically based on the situation.
