When using our widget to buy or sell cryptocurrency, you will see specific limits for each payment (or payout) method. It’s important to understand how these work.
What the limits mean
The minimum and maximum amounts for a single transaction depend on the payment or withdrawal method you select (for example: card, bank transfer, Skrill/Neteller, etc.).
Some methods also feature additional limits beyond per-transaction caps, like daily or monthly limits.
You can always view the limits before you confirm a transaction; they are shown when you select your payment or payout method.
Sample Limits by Method (as of current policy)
Here are some typical limits associated with different payment methods when buying or selling crypto. Actual limits may vary depending on the payment method and chosen currency.
| Payment Method | Min amount per transaction | Max amount per transaction | Other limits* |
|---|---|---|---|
| Credit / Debit Card | 4 USD (10 USD for ETH, ERC-20 tokens, DOT) | 20,000 USD | Unlimited total (no per-day/month cap) |
| Skrill / Neteller | 20 USD | 200,000 USD | 200,000 USD per day |
| Bank Transfer | 200 USD | 1,000,000 USD | 1,000,000 USD per month |
“Other limits” refers to cumulative caps over a certain period (daily, monthly), where applicable.
What to know before you proceed
Limits are set per payment or payout method. When you change the method, the limits will change too.
The limits displayed for a method apply to every verified user, they are not increased or personalised.
There is no option to raise these limits; they are fixed company-wide across all users.
If you want to transact amounts larger than the maximum per-transaction limit, you can do so by simply creating multiple transactions
How to check your limits
When placing an order (buy or sell), go to the payment or withdrawal step.
Choose the payment method you wish to use.
The page will display the minimum and maximum amount allowed for that transaction using that method.
Additional considerations
Limits may change over time. Always check them on the order page before confirming.
Limits are per transaction, but total amounts may also be constrained by day or month, depending on the method.
If you wish to perform a larger purchase or payout than the per-transaction maximum, plan to split it into multiple transactions.
